The North Rose UMC Mission Statement, as a congregation of The Upper New York Annual Conference: is to make Disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We follow a simple model of discipleship making: KNOW/GROW/SHOW. Join us, for worship/small groups for bible study and faith formation, nurture and outreach. Come join us to be The Church. BE THE CHANGE of God's redeeming love for you in Jesus Christ.

Lenten Bible Studies

A Lenten Book Study will be held in The Chapel, Wednesdays starting Feb. 14 through March 14, from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.  Please join Pastor Anne, for a Study on Christian author Philip Yancey book on "Prayer". We will prayerfully reflect on such questions as: “Is God listening to me?” “Why do so many prayers seemed unanswered?” “What good is prayer, does it make any difference?” Though participants are responsible for purchasing their own book, it is not necessary for you to have to purchase a book. Pastor Anne will raise for discussion, faith life applications from the book. Pastor Anne will provide homemade soup, crackers and coffee/beverage will be available during the book study.

Lenten Bible Study - Experience Life (Learning to Follow Jesus in a Me-Centered World). God's Word to us challenges us to put Jesus first and ourselves second.  What does that look like in a world that tells us to put ourselves first? What will it mean to invite Jesus to go with us through the joys and challenges of each day, all day?  How does that change our work, our relationships, our choices, our priorities? Join Pastor Diane on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm from February 19-March 19, as we study together and accept the challenge to line up behind Jesus!

Returnable Cans and Bottles

Please save your 5 cent-returnable cans & bottles (including water bottles) and bring them to church.  We have a barrel for them in the south entrance.  These donations are a major source of funding for the youth mission trip to Kentucky and for camperships to Casowasco.
